What is set to be arguably the biggest crossover of all time is almost upon us. CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS will bring together iconic amd legendary characters from across the DC universe tv, film and even animated spectrum on the CW.
Falling within the Arrowverse, the crossover will span across 5 of the 6 superhero shows, ARROW, THE FLASH, BATWOMAN, SUPERGIRL & DC LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. Black Lightning will also be involved yet his respective show will not be included in the crossover.
The CW just released a new poster to promote the event and it is amazing. Check it out below.
In the middle of the poster in the midst of Lamonica Garrett as The Monitor, you’ll notice it says “its the end….of the worlds”. In the comics the giant event lead to the erasure of all of the other worlds leaving all of the heroes of one Earth. Could that also be the fate of the Arrowverse after?.
Everything is coming up Superman with this new image of both Brandon Routh and Tyler Hoechlin both suited up as the man of steel in this photo taken over the weekend. Routh will suit up as the KINGDOM COME version of Superman and Hoechlin is the current Arrowverse version.
Both are suiting up for the big CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS crossover event this December on The CW. Tom Welling from SMALLVILLE is also set to appear as Clark Kent, it has not been confirmed if he also will have the “S” on his chest
Just when you find yourself asking yourself how much more star studded can the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS crossover get, the CW goes and drops another incredible actors name who’s added to the lineup.
Osric Chau is set to recur as Ryan Choi, a physics professor at Ivy Town University. Choi will more than likely be suiting up and shrinking down as the new Atom considering Choi takes that torch from Ray Palmer in the comics.
It was also previously mentioned that Brandon Routh who play’s Ray Palmer/The Atom is leaving DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW after this season along with his wife Courtney Ford who plays Nora Darhk.
The WOW factor for the annual Arrowverse crossover keeps happening. First it was annouced that Black Lightning and other characters from the show will be involved in the annual event now another blockbuater announcement was revealed today at the TCA’s.

Many have argued that even thougg not physically seen on screen he is the best Batman of all time. The addition of Conroy comes along with announcements that Burt Ward (Batman) would appear, and Brandon Routh would reprise his role from SUPERMAN RETURNS.
“CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS ” will be the biggest crossover event that The CW’s DC Universe TV series have attempted yet, with five series (ARROW, THE FLASH, SUPERGIRL, DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, and BATWOMAN). The story will, at least according to the onscreen canon established so far and comments by cast and producers at Comic Con, feature the death of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), who struck a mysterious deal with The Monitor (Lamonica Garrett during last season’s “ELSEWORLDS” crossover in order to save the lives of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), who were “destined” to die in the event.
The CW is gearing up for what is arguably going to be the biggest crossover ever with its Arrowverse shows in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. The shows that are the foundation for this are ARROW, THE FLASH, SUPERGIRL DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.
One show that is notably missing from the list is THE CW’s BLACK LIGHTNING. The show starring Cress Williams centered around Jefferson Pierce a former superhero turned high school principal who is brought back into the fight to save his hometown of Freeland and daughters as Black Lightning. He is also aided in his vigilante battle by his two superpowered daughters and his doctor wife. They all battle against the villainous Tobias Whale and other metahumans.
Many people were wondering whether or not the show would cross over into the arrowverse fold or would the titular hero even be part of the crossover and now we may have our answer.
In an article from FANDOMWIRE.COM is seems that is prettt much official that Black Lightning will be making an appearance in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. Cress Williams seelingly has confirmed this via his twitter.
It is being stated that Black Lightning will not have a major role but his will be similar to that of Batwoman’s in last years, ELSEWORLDS.
Black Lightning Season 3 is set to air on October 21, 2019, and will see Cress Williams (Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning), China Anne McClain (Jennifer Pierce / Lightning), Nafessa Williams (Anissa Pierce / Thunder), and James Remar (Peter Gambi).
